Absentee Voter (AV) Ballots

NO REASON Absentee Voting

In 2018, Michigan voters approved Proposal 3 which made some changes to election law. One of those changes is that voters can now request an Absentee Voter ballot without stating a reason. You must contact the Township Clerk's Office to request an AV Ballot application either by phone at 754-4611 or by email to Deputy Clerk Tricia Mejia: tmejia@carrolltontwp.com

You may also request to be added to the Permanent Absent Voter's List where you will automatically receive an AV ballot application for EVERY election. Avoid the long lines at the polls and vote from the comfort of your home! If you don't wish to vote in a particular election, just don't return the application! It's that easy!

Absentee Voter ballots are available at the Township Office, fill it out and mail in or drop off at the Township Office. You may even use our convenient Drive-Up Drop Box. Your AV ballot will be mailed/handed to you once the application is turned in!!
