School Crossing Guard Foreman
This employee works under the direct supervision of the Police Department Administrative Aide. This employee provides child pedestrian safety by facilitating safe passage of school children across high traffic streets and intersections. This position is part time and requires serious commitment to be at the crossing guard post on each school day, before and after school hours as required. This employee is responsible for securing substitutes for school crossing guards, who report that they will be absent or late for their crossing location.
Requirements and Responsibilities:

- Must secure substitutes for school crossing guards, who report that they will be absent or late for their crossing location.
- Must report all late or absent crossing guards to the Administrative Aide.
- Must report to the Administrative Aide the name(s) of substitutes placed on duty.
