New Shut-off Day Procedures

SHUT-OFF DAY PROCEDURES
Effective December 1, 2009, if your water service has been shut-off due to non-payment, you must schedule an appointment for water service to be turned back on. Appointment times for turn-ons will begin at 1:00 p.m. on shut-off day. The latest appointment time possible for turn-ons is 3:45 p.m.
You must have someone over the age of 18 years present (with access to the building) for the service to be turned on. If this is not possible on shut-off day, you will have to schedule an appointment for a different date and time, or pay the overtime fee for the DPW personnel to turn the service on after 4:00 p.m.
REMINDER:
Carrollton Township is NOT responsible for the U.S. Postal Service and payment for your utility bill is applied the day it is received in this office. If you are unable to pay during office hours, there is a drop-box located across from the municipal building entrance.
Other options for utility bill payment:
- Automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account on the due date
- Payment by credit card through Official Payments Corporation online or by phone
