The Departments Engine 7 is currently undergoing renovations to further its life span and usefullness to the department.

The following pictures are of the areas where some major and minor improvement were made.

The roof of the cab received a new lightbar and new scene lighting that retracts into the cab.

A new hose well was added for 100 ft of hose.  This will allow crews to put out small fires without pulling more hose then truly needed.

The rear of the Engine received the most attention.

We extended and inclosed this area for more storage, also to install a new set of Jaws of Life.

This will be the first set of new Extrication equipment the department has purchased in over 26 years.

The Department also provides Public Education programs to our schools.

During these photos the students had been reading about Fire Trucks and their Teacher invited us to come and show the students some real Fire Trucks.

The 2nd Annual C.T.F.D. Pancake Breakfast was held on September 27th, 2009.

Thank you to all who attended and hope to see you back next year!

On June 24th 2009 C.T.F.D. was invited to display our apparatus and speak with the public at

Lake Huron Area Credit Unions Annual Hot Dog Days.

The Carrollton Twp Police Dept, Kochville Fire Department and

the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad also displayed some of their equipment.
